These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of stays.travalong.co.in(the “Website”) and your engagement with Travalong Stays (operated by TRAVALONG, hereafter “Travalong”, “we”, “our”). By using the Website or making a booking, you (“Guest”, “you”) agree to these Terms.
1. About Travalong Stays
Travalong Stays is a curated collection of private villas across Nashik, Igatpuri and Goa, India. We act as an authorised operator and booking partner for the villa owners listed on the Website.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information at the time of booking.
- Stays involving minors must include at least one accompanying adult guest at all times.
3. Booking & Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or the agreed advance), an emailed booking confirmation from Travalong, and our acceptance.
- We reserve the right to decline any booking, refuse service, or cancel a confirmed booking where there is reasonable suspicion of fraud, misuse or misrepresentation, with a full refund where applicable.
- The Guest named on the booking is responsible for the conduct of all members of their party.
4. Pricing & Taxes
- Prices displayed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are exclusive of applicable Goods & Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated.
- Total payable at the time of booking will be shown clearly before payment confirmation, including taxes and any service charges.
- Prices may change without notice; the price applicable to your booking is the one displayed at the time of confirmation.
- Festive periods (Diwali, Christmas/New Year, long weekends) may carry different rates, minimum-night requirements, and modified cancellation terms, which will be communicated at the time of enquiry.
5. Payment
- Payments are processed by our payment gateway partners (Razorpay and/or PhonePe Payment Solutions Pvt. Ltd.). By making a payment, you also agree to the gateway's terms.
- Accepted instruments: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay), debit cards, UPI, net banking, and select wallets.
- We do not store full card details, CVV or UPI PINs. Payment-instrument data is handled directly by the gateway under PCI-DSS compliance.
- In case of a failed payment, no booking is confirmed. Any amount debited from your account against a failed transaction will be auto-reversed by your bank/gateway, typically within 5-7 working days.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
7. Check-in & Check-out
- Standard check-in: 2:00 PM IST. Standard check-out: 11:00 AM IST.
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory at check-in for every adult guest.
8. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit (₹15,000 - ₹50,000 depending on the villa) is collected at check-in. It is refunded within 48 hours of check-out, less any documented deductions for damage, breakage, missing items or services consumed beyond inclusions.
9. House Rules & Conduct
- Maximum occupancy stated on each villa page is strictly enforced for safety and insurance reasons. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction without refund.
- Unregistered guests, parties or events are not permitted without prior written approval from Travalong.
- Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas of the property.
- Pets are welcome at select properties only — confirmation required at the time of booking.
- Behaviour that disturbs neighbours, damages property, or violates local laws may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund. The Guest will be liable for any damages caused.
- Loud music and amplified sound must comply with local civic regulations (typically no amplified sound after 10 PM IST in residential areas).
10. Liability & Indemnity
- The villa, its facilities and surrounding areas are used at the Guest's own risk. Travalong, the villa owners, and on-site staff are not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, theft or damage to personal property during the stay, except where caused by gross negligence on our part.
- Guests are responsible for the safety of children in pool areas, on stairways, balconies and around water bodies at all times.
- The Guest indemnifies Travalong against any third-party claim arising from the Guest's use of the property.
- Our total liability under these Terms, in any circumstance, is limited to the booking amount paid.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including photographs, copy, designs, logos and the Travalong wordmark — is the property of Travalong or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.
12. User Content
By submitting reviews, photographs, or other content to Travalong (e.g. via email or social tags), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display such content for marketing purposes, with attribution where possible. You represent that you own or have the right to share any content submitted.
13. Third-Party Services
The Website integrates with third-party services (payment gateways, mapping services, social platforms). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for their performance, availability or practices.
14. Force Majeure
Travalong is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government action, civil unrest, pandemic, terrorism, strikes, or utility failures. In such cases, the Cancellation & Refund Policy's force-majeure clause applies.
15. Modifications
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes apply prospectively. For bookings already confirmed, the Terms in force at the time of confirmation continue to apply unless a regulatory change requires otherwise.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, or a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
